I have not posted for a long time, for which I apologize… I’m sure I have dozens of devoted readers eagerly awaiting the pearls of wisdom that could be passing through my keyboard.
HA!
To my credit, since I’ve posted last, I’ve started the process of starting a business, begun my third term of school (taking Accounting 2 and Theology 1), had a mega-family-crisis, and began seeing someone. So, it’s not like I’m slacking off here!
Ironically, it was FFH that spurred me to write today. I love their song, “It’s a Good Day”. For two months now, I’ve been singing the chorus:
“Say hey, it’s a good day,
Even if things aren’t going my way
Jesus is born and I am saved
So, say hey, it’s a good day.”
I thought it was cheerful and upbeat song about the goodness of the Incarnation and how the Nativity was an essential part of my salvation.
Nope.
The line is: “Jesus is Lord and I am saved.”
Which makes more sense, but lacks much of the soteriological subtley which I first attributed to the band.
Anyway! just thought I’d share… And I’ll try to post more often in the future.

Slacker…
So you’re starting a business…and every business has a product. What will you be selling, and should I want to buy it?
You’re seeing people? Are they alive… or not?
This could be a cause for concern.
The product: Mad Home Economic Skills and Good-Old-Fashioned Wisdom
The audience: Christian women between the ages of 18 – 28
The possibilities: Webisodes
Where do I sign up?
Well, we are thinking of offering a Bachelor’s Bootcamp. If you’re more interested in the ladies than the skills, then this won’t appeal to you. However! Knowing how to shop, cook, and clean never made any man less attractive.
If you’re interested (in taking a course), we’re offering a few pilot classes that are free, but require a time committment. I can send you my email address.
Hmm…
I did just bake some potato slices. My wife loved ‘em!
